Alex asked me to shape him a Hippo Clito design to bring his surf style into the 20th Century. This board nicknamed "The Zappa" from the print on the bottom is single to V double concave at the tail, carbon rails and paulownia wood skins. This board is designed to turn like a shortboard, ride high in the pocket and simulate the skate like qualities of a 'fish'.
